(iii) General instance guidelines.
a. Code of Conduct.
(i) Guild Chat & Voice Server.
-Respect the authority of the guild leader and others that manage the faction life. If some of them is asking you to do something in guild interest, by all means, please obey them and do not argue.
-Respect. As our medium of communication, all guild members are reminded to be respectful of each other.
-Rating. All swear words are censored by PWI with regards to international law and social cohesion. Derogatory or disrespectful language will not be tolerated. This includes but is not limited to:
=using language with the purpose of emotionally affecting another player in a negative way
=being racist, sexist, or discriminatory
=using language with the purpose of being disrespectful or hurtful
-Offense. We are all responsible for what we say, however, we cannot always know that it may offend.
=All members are required to understand that they should avoid knowingly offending someone even if they don't agree their behaviour is offensive.
=All members are required to understand that other people may not understand that they are being offensive to you.
=It is encouraged that all issues are raised and talked through, with both parties coming to a suitable conclusion. Don't let the pot simmer!
-Subject Material. Guild chat is not necessarily limited on subject material, except for the following:
=You may not discuss planning for state, national, or international criminal activity
=You may not discuss planning for state, national, or international terrorism
(for example, you can talk about the dodgy people down the road who sell drugs, but not that you plan to purchase and distribute drugs)
(ii) Guild Behaviour.
The Order of the Dragon is about excelling- in TW, in instances, in events, in gears, and in behaviour. We are not boy scouts and girl scouts, but we want people to think of us in a positive light, rather than negative.
(iii) Guild Goals.
Order of the Dragon is a TW guild. Our daily activities revolve around leveling, making money, upgrading gears, preparing for Territory War, and generally having fun and getting along with each other. We are all here, for these things. Personal issues will always arise, as we are from many different backgrounds, but on a base level, we can all respect that we have a common goal: To be chivalric and noble.
b. General Guidelines.
(i) PK Restrictions.
-You may not PK another guild member, unless with express permission and agreement on guidelines between both parties.
-You may not repeatedly PK any Player who does not wish to PK against you (this is in PWI ToS as 'devaluing another players online experience')
-It is encouraged that you do not PK any players knowingly of a much lower level than yourself.
(ii) Member Conduct in PK.
We are not animals. PK is a great opportunity to gain experience for Territory War, it is a great opportunity to test your skills against real players, it is a great opportunity to let off some steam, and it is a great opportunity to maximise your perfect world experience. PK is NOT an opportunity to gloat, bully, QQ, display destructive and ridiculous behaviour, or generally be uncivil and neanderthalis.
(iii) General Instance Guidelines.
-Cost. Determine the cost of an instance run to each player BEFORE you initiate the run. For bounty hunters, for example, it is common practise to pay the Winer before instances are Wined, and Winer is to have lead at all times, unless a previous agreement is reached between all party members.
-Item Distribution. Determine the distribution of drops from mobs and bosses before the squad commences the run. For TT runs, for example, determine whether it is random drops or shared drops at the end, in which case players may agree that someone 'banks' the items until the run is complete and its time to 'split' drops, which is generally based on a system of subber-tank-cleric-DDs
-FBs. Tabbed runs as a general rule are wined by the tabber, and the tabber receives all drops from the instances (with the exception of stamps as these are untradeable), unless previously agreed BY THE TABBER that these guidelines will not be followed.
